Amanda commenced Ballet classes at the age of 3 and over the years added Modern (Jazz),Tap, Irish, Highland and Ballroom to the mix. Amanda continued with all genres but Highland Dancing was, and still is, her greatest love. 



Amanda enjoyed competing across the country, winning many Highland Dancing Titles, Premierships and the Qld Highland Dancing Championship. A highlight was qualifying for the Champion of Champions Championship of Australia. 

At 16 years old Amanda completed the first of three Highland teachers exam and balanced competing and teaching for many years until retiring from competitive dancing. 

Amanda is a fully qualified and registered NDAAI Highland Dancing teacher and enjoys watching her students develop confidence and strength through this highly disciplined and traditional art form. 

Dancing has been a way of life for Amanda who also balances a full time job along with raising 2 wonderful children with her husband, Chris.
