‘I have had the privilege of being a member of the Ann Roberts Studio Staff for over 50 years teaching along side both Ann Roberts & also Jane Pirani and have really enjoyed this ‘fantastic ride’ as a friend & colleague of these two talented women. The wonderful array of teachers and students who have passed through the school have left a lasting legacy for the Staff and pupils of the future. Thanks for the memories.’

At the age of 6 years Debbie joined the Ann Roberts family at the Currajong suburban school learning ballet. She then continued her training at the Sturt St City Studio adding Tap & the new Modern technique to her training before moving to the brand new Pirani Hall Studio at 12 years. After completing her Advanced exams in all 3 disciplines she began her teaching career & joined the Studio’s full time staff at the age of 20 years. She also won a Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Scholarship to study for 3 months in New York, completed her Advanced Teacher’s Certificates in the three disciplines, Choreographed 2 ballets for the NQ Ballet Company & one piece for Extensions Youth Company
