JUNE/JULY SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AND UPDATES
ACRO
All Friday Acro classes run throughout the school holidays.
The two Senior Saturday classes will combine from 10.00-11.00am on Saturday 28th June and Saturday 5th July.
ADULTS
All classes will run as usual throughout the school holidays, with the exception, of Monday 7th July when there will be no Silver Swans due to the Show Day Public Holiday.
BALLET
Kinder and PrePrimary Ballet classes will run as usual throughout the school holidays.
PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique) will continue throughout the school holidays.
No regular classes for Primary to Grade 4 during both weeks of the school holidays. All students should attend the Vacation School from Monday 7th to Friday 11th July instead.
Grade 7, Intermediate Foundation and above will have regular classes throughout the school holidays in addition to the Vacation School, although there will be some time and studio changes as listed below to accommodate the Vacation Schools. The Vacation School from Monday 30th June to Friday 4th July is compulsory for all exam students.

CONTEMPORARY
All classes will run as usual throughout the school holidays.
On Tuesday 1st July, Level 3 Contemporary will be in Studio 2 Pirani Hall, not Studio 1.
HIGHLAND
There will be no classes during the first week of school holidays – Monday 30th June to Saturday 5th July.
Classes will be as usual in the second week, and all students are welcome to attend the Tuesday (5-6pm) and Thursday (5-6pm) classes that week.
HIP HOP
All classes will run as usual throughout the school holidays.
JAZZ
All classes will run as usual throughout the school holidays.
TAP
All classes will run as usual throughout the school holidays.
TINY DANCERS
All classes – Bubs, Teeny Tots and Tiny Tots - will run as usual throughout the school holidays, with the exception, of Monday 7th July when there are no classes due to the Show Day Public Holiday.
TERM 3 UPDATES
Once the Ballet exams are completed in early August, there may be some changes to the Ballet timetable to accommodate groups for the Townsville Eisteddfod. These will be advised as soon as possible.
EISTEDDFOD GROUPS
We are entering several groups in the Townsville Eisteddfod in Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Contemporary. Performances will be from 20th to 27th September at the Civic Theatre. In some cases, we have formally sought expressions of interest from students who would like to take part, and in other cases the teachers have spoken with students and parents to gauge interest. All students taking part must attend all lessons in Term 3, as well as any additional rehearsals required. The timetable for group rehearsals ihas been emailed and is available on "In the Loop". Some groups have begun working on their Eisteddfod routines, while others will start after the Ballet exams in early August. We will advise exact start dates as soon as possible.
ADA CHAMPIONSHIPS SYDNEY
This year sees us take our largest ever group of dancers to the Sydney ADA Championships. The dancers will compete in Syllabus sections, solos, Duos/Trios and groups, and will also get to experience Masterclasses with national and international guest teachers. The timetable for group rehearsals has been emailed and is available on "In the Loop". Some groups have begun working on their Eisteddfod routines, while others will start after the Ballet exams in early August. We will advise exact start dates as soon as possible.
